New unit and the 64 mb card is too small to store maps for an approaching trip. Topo data appeared as expected from MapSource Topo on the 64mb card. I guess I got greedy and purchased a 1 GB SanDisk card. I probably only used about a third of the card's memory. Topo data is no longer visible, even after downloading the map sets twice.

Is 1 GB too large? How large of a memory card will this unit handle?

Hey John,

From one KTM rider to another (450exc), I ran into the same problem. You need to go into the menu system (find "maps"), and turn off City Select, so Topo will be visible. As I understand it, CS will always override other maps loaded.

I have 60CSx as well, and just bought a 1gig card (Frys, $39!), and you cannot see both maps at once........According to Garmin, at least.

They told me to turn off CS, and Topo will be visible.

Hide the cityselect map from map setup and you will see the topo, unhide it to see the topo.

And yes, the 1gb cards definitely work.
