I don't get the GPS craze that is taking the world by storm. If you are general driver, you know your way around your town and couple of neighboring ones. And you travel to a distant place or a city once or twice a year. Do you really need a €400+ GPS device in your car/bike/backpack? Couldn't you just borrow one when you really need it?

I just bought a Megallan 700 off eBay that didn't include the software or new firmware and I'd like to update this thing. I can't seem to register the GPS on the official site either. So if anyone has these files could you please upload them for me. Thanks!

my beloved magellan 360 freezed on me 2 weeks ago. It allows me to do everything right till the point it needs to generate a route. and this is the point where it does freeze. I am no gps wizz. Anyone can help? I would like to get it fixed, I called Thanes but to no resolution. So my question is, who can fix my Magellan 360? Thank you! Elena

Hi, I just bought a garmin 60csx only because I wanted to add my arcgis maps to it. But now it seems I have a problem since I cannot do so.

I want to add my shapefiles and maps to the gps. Is it possible?
