When using a GPS can you pick 2 locations other then the one you're at right now to get directions from or is it only done from where you are presently ?

My Magellan Roadmate 700 is discontinued and unsupported by Magellan My device hard drive has been replaced but I require data files. Can anyone point me to an active form or site? (Dec 2007)

A friend gave me his old Exporist 600 because it would not always boot up for him or lock up at times. I've been able to get it to boot most of the time, but the only solution has been to pull the battery out for a bit and then put it back in and then I'll get it to boot up. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a program that has the wildlife management units on it. It would be nice to be able to tell if a person is leaving his zone or not. Some area don't have very distinct boarders. I have a magellan 400 gps and a garmin quest gps.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this, and how they found the Garmin (Europe/UK) repair service.

Last night I went to programme my 60CSx for this weekend's walking trip, and it wouldn't turn on. Not a thing, dead as a dodo... New batteries, the works.

If I connected it to my PC via a USB hub as usual, nothing. If I connected it with a direct USB connection, then it powered on, but ...

Actually 2 questions. Will the Nuvi 360 store addresses so I don't have to retype them?

Also, is there a 'better' dark glasses clip-on for seeing the screen better?

Ok so just discovered geocaching but on top of this it has again awakened my desire to own a gps.

What I really want is good advice on whether the garmin 310 will cover my needs i.e. i want a gps for driving ireland and the uk that will give me good accuracy for geocaching. does anyone know also can european maps be loaded onto this unit....any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi peeps I got a leadtek 9553x and it does not pare up with my nokia 6670. It just flashes blue and green then red on the gps sign. Any help much appreceaited? Thank you, aky

There is a disc that I presume fits to the windscreen that has a red circle on one side and black plastic on the other.

There is no mention in the manual how to use it/if this is needed at all?

Which way round does it go as the mounting arm will secure itself to either side (by a magnet possibly?)

Could I not use it and just attach the mounting arm direct to the ...

I have a TT Classic and I'm thinking of getting GPS capabilites for my TREO 700WX. There are a lot of good GPS Software in the market but I'm leaning towards choosing TT N 6 because I already know how to use the software. Does this make sense and is that a good reason to get TT N 6. Also, can you use TT Home with both TT N 6 and TT Classic?
